Not long to go until the second Pro Audio Showcase, run by the good folk over at Miloco Studios – the perfect opportunity to network and mingle with top producers and engineers, while trying out the latest studio gear and taking part in gear shoot outs with guest presenters.
Tickets cost £20 and for that you can enter competitions, enjoy production masterclasses, receive discounted magazine subscriptions and a digital goodie bag with £250 worth of music-making software.
It takes place on May 3rd at the Orinoco Complex in London, with the Pool, Red Room and Bridge studios all opened up to the public for the music production event. You’ll also be able to trial the equipment in its intended environment and some of the best studios in the world.
Grammy Award-winner Matt Lawrence is one of the producers on hand on the day, running a special Mix Masterclass. And there will be lots of the best manufacturers and distributors in the UK exhibiting at the complex, including Genelec, PMC, DPA, Trinnov, Sony, Eventide, Moog, Chandler, API, Augspurger, Audient and more.
Miloco itself started off life as a single London-based studio back in 1984 but ever since has been working to ensure that the complexes it now owns are top-notch and a cut above the rest of them. It now has more than 90 recording studios around the world and will only work with those premises that it believes will deliver to the standard that Miloco customers have come to expect over the years.
